The associates of La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino enjoyed an exciting, interactive General Assembly just recently.
The resort hosts a festive gathering for its associates quarterly, where members of management in collaboration wiith the department of Human Resources share property accomplishments, goals, and plans for upcoming months.
The themed event was a resounding success, and enjoyed great turnout, with record breaking attendance. With the focus on the World Cup, this year’s mascot Zabivaka, the goal scoring wolf, joined the team and following a FIFA-like opening ceremony, uniformed kids from Aruba’s little soccer league walked in carrying certificates of accomplishment won by the resort and its General Manager.
It was an entertaining experience. General Manager Joe Najjar, shared some inspiring words launching La Cabana’s “100 Days of Hospitality” campaign, where the main focus is on Customer Satisfaction.
During the afternoon each department shared its beliefs with the forum, and kicked La Cabana’s World Cup ball into the goal box, as a symbol of associates’ commitment to 100 Days of Hospitality.
Assistant General Manager, Jessica Franken also shared important information on the awards received. This year, the resort was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award for the second year in a row, the Platinum Greening Award for 2017 and Najjar was elected Resort Manager of the Year for 2017; out of 60+ Bluegreen resorts, Najjar was recognized for his outstanding leadership and his property’s accomplishments.
The extravagant get together concluded with La Cabana’s talented emcee Johnny Kock, thanking associates for their attendance and encouraging them to help themselves to the delicious stadium-like refreshments provided.
