With amazing artists as Chaka Khan, Oscar de Leon, Fourplay and more CARIBBEAN SEA JAZZ FESTIVAL ARUBA TAKES PLACE ON OCTOBER 5th and 6TH 2012

During a press conference held at Fusion Piano and Wine Bar among the new Alhambra Shops the official kick off of the Caribbean Sea Jazz season unfolded. Just a few weeks before the festival organizers informed the press that all artists are 100% confirmed to perform on all stages in and around Cas di Cultura Plaza, on Friday October 5th and Saturday October 6th 2012. On the program Chaka Khan, Oscar de Leon, Randy Brecker, Sven Hammond Soul, Fourplay, Kuenta y Tambu, Pete Philly, Frankie Yanga Trio, Diverse Sauzen, Reno Steba & Mike del Ferro, Upgrade Music, Rooster Farm Ft. Roger Peterson, Live X-pressions and many more.

The festivities will kick off the week prior to the festival with daily free warm up concerts, to put everyone in the right vibe for the major concerts during the weekend. At the press conference organizers informed there will be some significant changes made to the main stage area, in order to better accommodate the crowds. The famous food court will be available supplied by Aruba’s best restaurants, providing festival goers with delicious bites.

Insel Air and The Aruba Tourism Authority also present at the press conference shared that they are very pleased and proud to be part of this great annual festival that is demonstrating steady growth. Mrs. Vicky Arens elaborated on the fact that this year there will be 1,000 youth tickets available. These will be distributed via the different schools and have been pledged by Fonds Podiumkunsten and Prins Bernhard Cultuur Fonds.

Guests were delighted with the music of local band JEMM, following the press conference.
