To mark the happy occasion ECO DMS is hosting a cocktail party at Kura Hulanda Hotel, on Tuesday, with hoteliers, media and dignitaries in attendance.
ECO DMS President and CEO Wichita Villacres, states that the island of Curacao has made significant improvements in recent years. With the opening of large resort properties such as the Renaissance and the Hyatt, and in view of additional investment made by the Marriott and the Avila Beach, for example, tourism in Curacao is now more prepared to welcome group travel, she explains.
ECO DMS will complement the Curacao resorts with its expertise in hosting meetings, entertaining incentives, orchestrating trade shows and delivering successful conferences & expositions, she says.

DeWindt, who served for many years as an ambassador of Curacao, and one of the first individuals to represent Curacao 25 years ago at the opening of its office in Holland, states that ECO DMS Curacao is a green company, dedicated to the long-term sustainability of Curacao’s tourism product. ECO DMS is prepared to showcase the island, its rich culture and striking beauty to large numbers of visitors while upholding the essential three Rs: Reduce, reuse, and recycle throughout its daily tours, activities and special events.
The international ECO DMS team will be promoting and marketing both Aruba & Curacao as the gems of the Dutch Caribbean, developing preparing & handling incentive corporate trips, in conjunction with international planners, stressing that each island offers similarly exotic yet very different components, designed to create lasting impressions and thrilling adventures.
ECO DMS President & CEO Wichita Villacres, who is the international co-chair of the upcoming SITE conference unfolding in Aruba, October 25 to November 4, expressed her wish to see many of Curacao’s hoteliers and tourism executives join the event.
The SITE 2009 IC will bring together top minds in incentive travel, a multi-billion dollar global industry, and Curacao should take advantage of the proximity of the conference to network, meet and connect with the superstars of the industry.
