Eagle Beach. — In a recent first quarter associate general assembly a new HR rebranding initiative was introduced to staffers and management, titled “We Celebrate YOU!”
The HR team passionately presented the essence of this HR rebranding and slogan, emphasizing how it resonates with La Cabana’s culture. Strategies to amplify the HR branding and reach a wider audience were unveiled, igniting excitement and anticipation among attendees.
Following the first quarter associate general assembly, associates were welcomed into the ballroom for a delicious lunch prepared by the dynamic culinary team. Lunch was combined with an award ceremony, an informal celebration acknowledging the outstanding nominees for January, February and March, 2024.
Among January nominees: Dionisio Geerman, Loss Prevention; Adilio Diaz, Engineering; Nicolasa Ventura, Housekeeping; Zulaima Vrolijk, Front Office – PBX and Elizabeth Feliciana, Housekeeping.
Among February nominees: Roger Perez, Engineering; Rugino Simileer, Accounting; Patricia Bernabela, Housekeeping; Violeta Vargas, Housekeeping and Milangelys Henriquez, Food & Beverage.
Among March nominees: Romeo Francis, Engineering; Christopher Vrolijk, Activities; Sergiomar Croes, Front Office and Daysi Pourier, Food & Beverage.
Supervisor of the Quarter nominees included: Geegee Jaranilla, Front Office and Martha Nuboer, Food & Beverage.
Team of the Quarter nominees included: Electrical Mechanical Team and the PBX Team.
Those nominated among associates were given the honor of opening the buffet line, enhanced by caring service and high spirits.
As winners were announced the room erupted in applause. Winners were called forward one by one to be lauded for their hard work and dedication.
For January, Nicolasa Ventura, Housekeeping, outshone all others in her department.
For February Patricia Bernabela, Housekeeping, demonstrated peak performance, for the same department.
For March Christopher Vrolijk, Activities, proved to be the star of the month, in activating guests.
Supervisor of the Quarter, Geegee Jaranilla, excelled at the Front Office.
Team of the Quarter, the PBX Team, never missed a call or a communication, keeping up with guests and associates.
