The Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa recognized a number of exceptional associates this week at a special luncheon party hosted in their honor by members of the executive committee Rachel Noordermeer & Bob Curtis.
Rainer Wever received praise for his competence and willingness as he took responsibility for the good, the bad and the ugly in the accounting department, in May. Jhowen Maduro was lauded for his “yes, I can†attitude as demonstrated in the Laundry department, in June.
Both winners were presented with handsome certificates and special gifts, as they joined the other finalists Nuria Cafarzuza, Kitchen, Mathilde Clements, Plaza Club, Roque Martinez and George Lopez, both from Engineering, nominated for the month of May and Juan Vasques, Sunset Grille and Santiago Acosta, Pool & Beach for the month of June.
As Manager of the Second Quarter, Vicky Perez, of the Sales Department, was acknowledged for her exceptional ability to secure additional business for the resort. Nominated by Executive Chef Hector Espinoza for her tremendous leadership skills, and her virtual “magic wand,†which brings people into the resort, Vicky remarked that her team was the key to her success, and that working for the Grande Dame, made it easy, since the resort easily sold itself.
