Professional poker player Annie Duke, and Ultimate Bet Marketing Director Will Griffith welcomed more than 600 registered card players to the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa for the under-the-stars, Sunday evening, official launch party, on the beach.
All participants of this year’s poker classic earned their seat on the tournament on-line, when they won an Aruba Prize Package to the 2008 UB event. They all seemed elated to combine the excitement of on-line poker with live play in the tropics.
This year’s event returns to the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa in its 7th edition, and some seats are still available, so hurry up and register.Â
With a first place prize of $1,000,000 guaranteed, this poker event is bringing out some of the biggest celebrities in the game. Expect to see poker stars like Phil Hellmuth alongside entertainment icons like Don Cheadle and Scott Ian play poker for big money and bigger excitement.
