Trivento Bodegas Y Vinedos, Argentina’s 3rd largest wine producers, independently-run as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vina Concha & Toro, came to Aruba just recently and impressed local food and wine lovers with the quality of Trivento Tribu Chardonnay, Trivento Reserva Malbec, Trivento Cabernet Malbec, Trivento Golden Reserve Malbec and Trivento Amado Sur.
Tango restaurant was the host of the evening offered by Trivento Bodegas Y Vinedos as Export Manager Julian Inarra Iraegui joined Chef & Sommelier Francisco Bragoni in greeting a room packed with wine aficionado.
The evening highlighted the considerable talents of the restaurant’s grill master serving Scampi Rochelero as an appetizer paired with Trivento Tribu Chardonnay, a wine laced with pineapple, banana and citric notes. Then three different tastings paired Sirloin steak with Trivento Reserva Malbec, a wine with forest fruit and fine herbs aromas; Tenderloin Churrasco with Trivento Cabernet Malbec, a red fruit wine brimming with plum aromas and oak drawn vanilla; and Lamb Chops, with Trivento Golden reserve Malbec, tasting of berries and plum with coffee, tobacco and moka undertones.
The dessert, a dark chocolate cake was accompanied by Trivento Amado Sur imported from Argentina especially for the occasion.
While Julian helped pour the delicious wines, Francisco guided guests through the tasting experience, elaborating on the methods of wine making in Mendoza, Argentina’s famous wine country.
Trivento is now available in 26 markets in 103 countries and is represented here by Romar Trading. The evening was co-hosted by the Romar team, with wine artist Clive Faustin.
