Trio Huasteca delivers an evening of romance and music

DSC07912Trio Huasteca, delivered an evening of pure joy to Mr Jazz, Wednesday night, delighting locals and visitors with three hours of nonstop music. The group crisscrossed all Caribbean islands as well as Mexico, Venezuela & Colombia looking for classic love songs, romances and folkloric fun compositions and performed them beautifully to their enchanted and entertained audience at Mr Jazz, the Supper Club at Paseo Herencia.

Etty Toppenberg, Eric Escalone & Max Hassel, the guitarists/vocalists at the heart of Trio Huasteca, recruited their friends Mario Middendorp, on base, and Yon Escharbaai, on maracas, to create an exceptional musical evening, enjoyed in the comfort of Aruba’s nicest night club, over Happy Hour bar prices.

Trio Huasteca, celebrating four decades in music on the island, are Aruba’s ambassadors of song, they are troubadours in the true sense of the word mixing themes of courtship, love and betrayal, with humor, street  and childhood songs.

Celebrating 40 years of marriage, romance and love over delicious dinner at Mr Jazz, Paula & Thomas Parish, from Long Island, NY, guests of the Marriott Surf Club. They were joined by Cindy & Ken Baron, from Sunapee, New Hampshire who have been dancing together for the past 31 years, and their daughter Lauryn Baron whose boyfriend Paul Beaudet celebrated his 30th birthday at Mr Jazz.
