Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch at the Renaissance Convention Center was a family affair with many locals getting together to celebrate the most important women in their lives.
Guests were entertained by the Dynamic Band with Calos Olarte while they feasted on many local favorites including pastechis in the breakfast section, oysters, shrimp and mussels in the seafood station including delicious Creole-style ceviche and fresh sushi.
Chef Chino’s seafood chowder, grouper with mango sauce, cole stoba, cabrito stoba and the carving station, received many compliments, and the amazing dessert buffet was enthusiastically received.
Mother’s Day brunch also promoted a fun trip to the Renaissance sister property in Curacao, and many other door prizes.
The children were delighted with the Kids’ Corner munching pizza and hotdogs, getting their faces painting, enjoying popcorn, cotton candy and the Dino Jump.
Upon departure, all moms were honored by a rose.
