Tiara Air employees, management and directors participated in a recent Human Factors Training for the Aviation Industry.
The course is designed to familiarize participants with the importance that human factors play within the industry, their impact on the operation in general and on safety in particular.
“Anybody working for aviation,” explains facilitator Christopher Escott, “is certified mentally and physically, and found fit to perform his designated task, but this certification,” he adds, “is only valid at a single point in time and says nothing about the next day, week, month, or year, as human factors change from one minute to the next.”
“The purpose of the training,” reiterates Escott, “is to create an awareness of the in-sync workings of the mind and body, encouraging aviation professionals to develop skills while maintaining their mental and physical fitness over time.”
Attending the EASA, European Aviation Safety Authority, sanctioned course, Alejandro Muyale, Raymond Maduro, Camilo Muyale, Jeramiah Schwengle, Glenn Kelly, Freddy Tromp, Hubert Zievinger, and Max Figueira.
