The local Art Exhibition is an integral part of the Westin’s fifth edition of the Aruba Wine, Food & Art Festival. While the festival is unfolding over the weekend, the Art Exhibition will remain open and pieces are for sale, until July 10th.
Currently on display works by artists tackling the theme of Arubian Cuisine. It is curated by Aruba Art & Management Consultancy and it features artists Stan Kuiperi, Irene Peterson, Ciro Abath, Marian Abath, Elvis Lopez, Eliza Lejuez, Glenda Heyliger, Elvis Tromp and Eefje van der Straten-van Twillert.
As part of the festival program artist Stan Kuiperi held a lecture Thursday afternoon, outlining Aruba’s history of art. The gallery will continue to host events in honor of the festival in the upcoming days.
