The associates’ events committee at the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa hosted a recent soft ball tournament in Noord, at the Centro di Bario ball park.
The event featured a numbers of teams of resort associates battling it out for fancy trophies and pats on the back.
The competition has been going on for years with Pool & Beach, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Accounting & Housekeeping, doing their best to reclaim the trophy from whoever won it the previous year while playing domino, drinking beer and munching on grilled hotdogs, flipped on the Barbie by members of the social committee. .
Eddy Pourier, the resort’s most famous retiree pitched the first ball, and he did so with great style reports Marcel Angela, team captain for the accounting.Â
