Eagle Beach — Group leader Kevin Prince, of Divine9Online, escorted the Professional Relaxation group to Aruba, and helped orchestrate a fabulous Labor Day Weekend here, at Divi Resorts, during the last week of August.
The group of 450 professionals, travels annually to different destinations and books the itinerary via Divine9Online. Members hail from all over the USA, and enjoy diverse interests and professional occupations, yet once a year when they come together, they all have one most important thing in common, the desire to relax and have buckets of fun!
True to the group’s name the Professional Relaxation Group Aruba 2014 attended several parties unfolding at Divi’s different resort properties, including a beach party, toes in the sand, at the Sand Piper’s Bar, Divi All Inclusive, and a Wet n’ Wild party on the deck of the infinity pool at Divi Village. The itinerary also included late night after-parties at Fusion, Alhambra Casino & Shops, and a stylish event at Pure Ocean, Divi Phoenix Beach Resort. Since they flew in their own DJ, the music was nonstop, and the dancing ongoing.

According to Kevin F. Prince, Chief Operating Officer Professional Relaxation is the signature event of D9O Travel, a subsidiary of Divine9 Enterprises, LLC.. Every labor Day Weekend, hundreds of Urban Professionals travel to exotic international destinations for what has quickly become one of the fastest growing trips in the country. Past years has led the group to various locations in Jamaica, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas, but Labor Day 2014 led the group to beautiful Aruba at the Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort.
The group consists of professionals across many industries: Physician’s, Attorney’s, Educator’s, Nurse’s, Business Executive’s, Law Enforcement, and the US Military to name a few, but what truly makes the group unique is the fact that a majority of the guests are members of the 9 historically African American fraternities and sororities commonly referred to as the “Divine 9” (Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Delta Sigma Theta, Phi Beta Sigma, Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho, and Iota Phi Theta). These organizations were all founded on Christian principals and have a strong focus on community service. These founding principals were in display as the Divine9/Professional Relaxation group decided to sponsor the Casa Cuna Orphanage as part of their Professional Relaxation event. All guests were asked to bring donations which were collected during the trip. On Monday, September 1st a small segment of the group traveled to the Casa Cuna Orphanage to present school supplies, clothing, toys, and a financial donation of $2,860.
Over the course of the 4 days of the trip, the group was able to experience the outstanding amenities, beauty, and organization of Divi Resorts and their wonderful staff. They prepared a beautiful dinner on the beach for us, along with hosting several private events that were simply breathtaking. In addition, guests were able to spend time relaxing on Aruba’s many beautiful beaches, and spent a day enjoying all of the fun things to do at De Palm Island.
