The Pirates Nest serves lovely food in a romantic setting

Eric Derks and the dining room staffThe Pirates Nest restaurant right on the beach at the Bucuti Beach Resort & Tara Suites serves dinner nightly on a romantic outdoor deck which is both relaxed and gracious.

The lighthearted atmosphere perfectly captures the spirit of Aruba and the Caribbean’s unique flair and style.

The restaurant specializes in fresh seafood and prime steaks for dinner, though it is also open for breakfast and lunch and boasts 14 acres of unequalled sea views.

The restaurant is also famous for its 5-course Honeymooner’s Dinner enhanced by either wine or Champagne, served by a waiter dedicated to just one table, yours, set up on the sandy beach and illuminated by torches.

Some of the menu’s highlights include Linguine with Cherry Tomatoes, flavored with basil and shaved Gouda goat cheese; Lemon Roast Cornish Game Hen with a white wine herb gravy, sautéed fresh spinach & home-mashed potatoes; Aruban Steak Frites, delivering a Pepper Grilled 10 oz Rib Eye with pico de gallo and yuca fries; Seared Tuna served with curry spiced mashed potatoes and a Thai-style tomato coconut sauce and signature Spicy Shrimp, extra- extra large jumbo shrimp sautéed in a spicy chili cream sauce. The service is super congenial, against the backdrop of steel band music.
