The Department of Health, DVG, visits La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino

The Department of Health came on property at La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino to host an informative session regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine. The DVG crew also offered on the spot vaccination for interested associates, some even brought their family members, along.

In early May, the resort launched an exciting interactive vaccination campaign, by sharing a great deal of information about the Pfizer vaccine with the associates in order to encourage them to register via the Heath App or in person.

Additionally, the resort offered the latest accurate information, in an informal session with medical professionals.

According to the Vaccinate & Win campaign, associates who registered for vaccination could win amazing raffle prizes and were reassured that by vaccinating they contribute to herd immunity in the Aruban Community.

Associates were also invited to get help registering for the vaccine at the department of Human Resources.

As Aruba continues on the road to tourism recovery, resort management is putting the emphasis on health and wellbeing of its guests and associates as a top priority.

Promoting a safe and healthy environment is the main focus at this time, explain General Manager Joe Najjar, the resort would like its associates to come to work feeling comfortable to interact with others, and the only way to achieve that normalcy and recovery is to encourage mass vaccination, helping build more trust in the Aruba brand as a safe and healthy destination.

It is extremely important to us that our associates are well informed, concluded Najjar, as they decide whether or not to take the vaccine. We want to encourage all or most of our associates to be safe, take the vaccination and contribute to Aruba’s Tourism recovery.
