Golf lovers hit the greens at Divi Links Saturday for AGA’s First Annual Golf Tournament. They shared good times with colleagues, friends and visitors in a fundraising event for the gastronomic association, now celebrating its 16th anniversary.
The tournament had a two-person scramble 18-hole format beginning at 9:30 am and featuring various categories of play as well as an award ceremony and party at Mulligan’s Golf Café Bar & Restaurant, at the end of play.
Prizes included weekend stays at La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club, Hyatt Regency Resort, Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa, and Westin Aruba Resort, as well as dinners at Pirates’ Nest, Aqua Grill, Driftwood, Pure Beach, the French Steak House, Texas de Brazil and the Sunset Grille, a Setar cell phone and a Mandara Spa massage.
Sponsors for the AGA tournament included TEC, distributors of Polar beer and Polar Ice, Tropical Bottling Company Aruba, makers of AWA, and the Aruba Trading Company.
