Palm Beach — Tim Smit , new owner of two famous Palm Beach landmark restaurants, Amazonia Churrascaria and Sushi Salsa, enjoyed the distinct pleasure of introducing his refreshed Amazonia Lounge & Sports Bar to friends and soccer fans at the recent re-opening of the bar.
As Sushi Salsa moved to the south wing of the restaurant, the spacious lounge was outfitted with large screen TVs and will remain an active, friendly place for sports and entertainment, a before or after-dinner place, where guests may linger-longer in a comfortable area, sipping cocktails or sampling an array of bar-bites.
The tasty bar-bites include BBQ Loin Ribs, Brazilian Sausage, Grouper Fingers, Mozzarella Sticks, popular fried Dutch snacks and Coconut Shrimp, besides Tuna and Salmon Sushi and Sashimi, Seaweed Salad, Crab salad, and popular Sushi Salsa Rolls such as Crispy Eel, Tiger, Rainbow and Amazonia.
Smit reported that the restaurant has recently undergone considerable upgrades and changes to prepare for FIFA World Cup 2014, which will be shown in the lounge throughout the soccer season.
The expanded Sushi Salsa which doubled in size now features elegant seating around a wraparound bar, with blue glowing LED lighting, natural stone and wood decor, and stainless steel light fixtures. The beautiful setting combined with delicious sushi will surely please the growing number of restaurant fans.
