During the last three months of the year, October, November & December a great number of Renaissance employees distinguished themselves by working harder and going the extra mil. These high achievers were recognized during a special luncheon organized in their honor at the Renaissance Convention Center. The festive recognition was paired with sumptuous lunch and was well attended by all nominees for Team of the Fourth Quarter and members of resort management.
The award ceremony was affected by General manager Paul Gielen who took the time to thank each member of the Team of the Fourth Quarter for their valuable contributions to the success of his resort operations.
The four winning team members included Marguerite Antoine, Kitchen Cook, nominated by Executive Chef Michael Gomez, Marianella Cortez, Banquet Waitress, nominated by Angela Hagedoorn, Supervisor Juana Martinez, Aquarius, nominated by Olmedo Arango, and the Manager of the Fourth Quarter Mariska Geerman, from DTS, nominated by Manager Al Trivedi. All four winners were given handsome engraved plaques and certificates of distinction besides other surprises.
Joining them, their fellow nominee from the Heart of the House, William Morales, Landscaper, Edgard Luisito Maduro, Engineering Plumber, Judith Gross, Housekeeping Administrator, Pauline Ashley, Housekeeping Attendant and Mayra Kransen, DTS Agent. For the Front of the House, Emmely Julia, Room service Ocean Suites, Arvin Ruiz, Bellman Ocean Suites, Marcia Dillon, Activities and Melissa Arends, Front Office Agent. Also among top performing employees Supervisor Luis Vasquez Jr., Sous Chef, Moonsynia Mondesir, Front Office Supervisor and Mathilda croes, Housekeeping Supervisor.
