Sunday Brunch at Aquarius Restaurant, Renaissance Aruba Resort, was received enthusiastically by members of the local community.
When the weekend special was unveiled last Sunday, Aquarius restaurant was jam-packed by dedicated brunch lovers from the moment it opened at 12 noon to the time it closed at 3:30 p.m.
Aquarius Restaurant management spared no effort in the planning of the fantastic menu, creating a veritable feast in the tradition of the classic L’Escale restaurant which was a hit for many years at the location of the L.G. Smith’s Steak & Chop House, entertaining locals and their families each Sunday with elegantly served mouth-watering food.
“The tradition is back,†says Director of Food & Beverage John Grigg, “and the menu is much improved and was made even bigger, to truly include everyone’s favorite foods.â€
The new Aquarius Brunch buffet includes a Salad Bar with Red Beet Salad, Potato Salad, Egg Salad, Coleslaw & Pasta Salad. It features Seafood Ceviche, Jumbo Shrimp with Champagne Sauce, Salmon Gravlax, Smoked Herring, Peppered Mackerel, Assorted Sushi and Makisushi Rolls, Homemade Seasonal Pickled Vegetables, Liver Pate
Baby Shrimp Cocktail, and Tomato & Baby Mozzarella Salad.
The Steaming Kettle alternates a different soup each time with Seafood Chowder, Oyster Soup or Okra Seafood Soup on the list of regulars. Hot entrees are selected weekly by the Chef; these terrific international and local creations include Beef, Chicken, Fish, Pork and Lamb specialties.

Among much-visited spots is the Action Station, where Omelets and Pastas are tossed to order by a chef following patrons’ own cooking instructions.
