Summer’s Over: IFA Happy Hour at Turtle Cove

IFA Turtle CoveThe International Friends of Aruba reconvened for their first happy hour at the end of a much-enjoyed summer vacation at Turtle’s Cove. They moved up to the casual , open-air experience of the perched-above-the boulevard bar & restaurant, as their premier choice for a social gathering and an informal catch-up session.

The group enjoyed this smart new place, defining itself with a whimsical Caribbean décor and upbeat music. Manager Jose Lacle personally oversaw each and every detail, including a scrumptious selection of complimentary hors d’oeuvres and special priced drinks. The smiling servers and pleasant breezy atmosphere were a hit among party-goers.

A peak at the menu reveals that beside Fish & Seafood the menu also features many light appetizers such as escargots and ceviche, and delivers a sinful Fried Cheese Cake, served with a cool scoop of vanilla ice cream, which should be outlawed by the diet police, if they knew about it.

The large round bar shows sports on TV most hours of the day paired with an ongoing reasonably priced beer happy-hour. The café enjoys ample parking, right below, in the lot adjacent to the central bus station.
