Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort: The location is one of the main attractions. I window-shopped the Renaissance mall, dropped in for coffee at Starbucks, admired the boutiques and eateries of Rif Fort, enjoyed a stroll at Otrobanda, a crossing on the pontoon bridge, and a walk along the colorful waterfront building overlooking St Anna bay. Historic Willemstad is a great vacation playground.
The Infinity Beach at the resort is one of the seven modern world wonders, an engineering surprise, suspended above the ocean, sand under toes. The Infiniti Beach offers a spectacular experience. I had a Cappuccino in the shade overlooking the endless blue and had the privilege of seeing the Royal Netherlands Navy, Koniklijke Marine, Walrus-class submarine, Zr. Ms. Dofijn, 68-meter-long, leaving the bay, after a visit to the island. I thought I was dreaming, but no, it was the real deal. The Infiniti Beach Bar & Grill opens at 10am to 9pm for food and drinks, offering a unique, chilled and relaxing vacation experience.
Across the beach from my room, I could watch the new and exciting 5 O’clock Somewhere Bar & Grill under construction, opening soon, right on the beach, at an incredible location, adding another unique feature to the already very chilled and relaxing vacation experience.
Maritza Molina reports the Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort is a great favorite among Arubans visiting Curacao, and I can see why. The rooms are incredibly modern and comfortable with many lovely features that we take for granted and are nice to have – a quiet, discreet fridge, a mega size TV, a walk-in shower with a rain showerhead, a mini office and comfy couch, fantastic beds. The light goes on in the closet, as you approach it!
I had lunch on Ascension Day at Nautilus restaurant and saw dozens of locals enjoying the buffet, obviously the Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort is also a BIG favorite among them.
There will be more over the next few days!
