Some senior citizens, residents of the SABA home for elderly, enjoyed a leisurely push through town on three new wheelchairs, earlier this week. The state of the art wheels were donated by the  Screaming Eagle Restaurant and made the walk a lot more enjoyable for the volunteers and the handicapped, senior residents of the home.

This week was acknowledged as Bejaardenweek, Week of Senior Citizens, which is celebrated here in Aruba at the homes for the elderly. Festivities are being organized for the senior citizens including Bingo on Thursday and Music on Friday. Kindly visit your elderly relative this week, as part of the celebration  . . .
