The Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa managers congregated at the resort’s rooftop penthouse suite to exchange gifts and informally celebrate the season.
General Manager Rob Smith welcomed his department heads and thanked them for the warm reception he’s received since October, when he assumed the general manager’s position at the hotel. Smith went on to thank a number of key people who facilitated that transition period and helped him ‘hit the ground running,’ get off to a brisk and successful start at the eve of the island’s busy winter season.
Managers enjoyed the often-comical random assignment of other members of management to whom they anonymously gave a gift, and got a kick out of the guessing game leading to the reveal of the identity of the gift-giving colleague.
The gathering also recognized the extra efforts of managers Henri Barrau, Juan Semerel and Angelique Croes during the past quarter-year. Chief of Security Henri Barrau was lauded as manager of the quarter, for his contributions to the resort’s clockwork operation.
