Noord — The quarterly award ceremony at Caribbean Palm Village Resort is always a much enjoyed event, emceed by interim General Manager Astrid Muller and her executive team. The atmosphere is especially joyful as associates are recognized for exceptional performance within their departments and for going the extra mile, with extraordinary stories of resourcefulness and creativity.

Nominees for the second quarter of 2016 were Elvis Tromp, Purchasing; Ramona Ras, Maintenance; Cedric Tromp, Maintenance; and Evelyne Boekhoudt, Front-desk.

Their colleague, a supervisor at the housekeeping department, Juanita Dorothal, was elected winner of the quarter for her dedicated and consistent work and timely delivery of service with a smile.

Among those earning distinctions for going the Extra Miles, members of the Front Desk Evelyne Boekhoudt, Kenjah Howell and Deborah Rasmijn, members of Reservations Marilina Kuiperi and Sadia Futa, member of Maintenance, Arnold Maduro, and three members of Housekeeping Janeth Herrera, Ramona Nuñez, and Juanita Dorothal.
