An intimate group of Ultimate Bet’s Poker Widows, wives
and girlfriends of the players participating in the Radisson Aruba
Resort Casino & Spa international poker tournament were invited for a
shopping activity by Salamander Holdings. The activity included a
complimentary shopping tour on Palm Beach over wine and hors d’oeuvres
which were served along the way.
The ladies explored Aruba’s most intriguing retail stores located
within the high rise hotel area, enjoying the abundance of merchandise
available for their viewing and shopping pleasure!
The tour started at the Coconut Trading Co which offers a variety of
unique Gifts for all ages at the Village Mall across the street from
the Radisson, and continued to the Lazy Lizard located at South Beach
Centre next door to Hard Rock Café, offering resort wear and beach
accessories.
Having imbibed a few interesting wines and tasted some absolutely
delicious premium Dutch cheeses, the ladies continued to the Playa
Linda Beach Resort, home of T.H. Palm & Company, showcasing a variety
of imaginative merchandise for Fun Island Living in a truly creative
ambiance. Â Die-hard shoppers in the group then continued to the
Juggling Fish on the boardwalk and to the bathing suit store, to stock
up on distinctive beach and swimwear as well as unusual souvenirs.
During this fun and relaxing shopping tour the group also helped
benefit our community as a percent of all their purchases was donated
by the stores to local charities under the Tikkun Olam, world repair
program – helping the community remain strong, now in its second year!
