It was a double header for participants of the Tierra del Sol Royal Golf Tournament, this past weekend. After two days of play, and 36 holes, competition players endured a test of patience and consistency, in a format featuring two men teams playing the best ball, with gross & net results.
Winners of the gross division Hunt Riley and Adam Williamson scored 134, and landed delicious gift certificates for Screaming Eagle Restaurant.
Winners of the net division Nigel Nedd and Hubert Kock scored 128 and won equally welcome gift certificates to the Flying FishBone restaurant.
Notable father and son teams, in second place gross score, Mike and Maurice De l’Isle, won Tierra del Sol gift certificates while in 3rd place gross score Frans and Matthew Brinkman, won brunch at the Hyatt Regency.
Second place net score Orlando Rasmijn and Clifton Ling, won gift certificates from Tierra del Sol and 3rd place George Wong and Junior Croes, were awarded brunch for two at the Hyatt Regency. Closest to pin prize winners: Orlando Rasmijn, Libby Ter Weeme, Lone v/d Hofstede, and Maurice De L’Isle rounded up the list of tournament winners.
The much enjoyed tournament organized by head golf pro Adam Williamson, played on the course designed by renowned Robert Trent Jones Jr., which is the only 18-hole championship golf course on Aruba.
