Riu Hotels & Resorts Recognizes Top Travel Agents at 1st Annual Riu Partner Club Awards in Aruba

RIU Hotels & Resorts awarded its top US travel agency partners at its 1st Annual Riu Partner Club Awards held at the Riu Palace Aruba on June 4th.

Agencies recognized were rewarded with a trip for two to Aruba to attend the Riu Partner Club Awards Ceremony. In addition to the awards program, they were treated to a VIP weekend, inclusive of special tours of the island, recreational activities and special events.

The goal of the awards is to recognize the best Riu Partner Club travel agent in the United States and Canada in an effort to demonstrate the consolidation of the Riu Partner Club program among travel agents in the US. The awards also aim to strengthen RIU brand loyalty in the US and Canadian market and re-launch other programs such as Riu Agents, Riu Specialist; the city hotel line Riu Plaza as well as Weddings and Groups (MICE).

Among the 20 agencies recognized were Vacations to Go (awarded top seller), Bevak Associates (awarded top group seller) and Destination Weddings (awarded top weddings seller).

The Riu Partner Club rewards travel agents for their loyalty, allowing them to quickly and easily earn points redeemable for vacations at any of RIU’s All-Inclusive 24 Hours resorts (blackout dates apply). Agents earn points by submitting their reservations through the Riu Partner Club. Points are based on the hotel and room category, the number of persons, room nights and travel dates or reservation channel.
