Renaissance Marks Employee Anniversaries

A special cocktail party at the Renaissance Convention Center marked the anniversaries of a record number of employees, celebrating a career mile stone during the last quarter of 2009, working for the Renaissance Marina Hotel and the Renaissance Beach Suites. General Manager Paul Gielen shared the occasion with other hotel executive praising his team’s long term commitments to hospitality and their loyalty to the Renaissance properties in the heart of town.

Among those celebrating the 5 year career mark Sandra van Wijk, Stewarding; Zenaida Polonia, Cafeteria Marina Hotel; Ricardo Pereira, L.G. Smith’s Steak & Chop House; Felicia Donata, Kitchen; Margarita Hernandez, Main Kitchen; Francis Ras, Main Kitchen ; Geordino Ruiz, L.G. Smith’s Steak & Chop House; Juan Onate, Security; Gladys Dania, Security; Raquel Muyale, Accounting; Vanie Dinzey, Renaissance Private Island; Miroushka Statia, Accounting; Cesar Caradenas, Housekeeping Marina Hotel and Fernando Orihuela, Renaissance Convention Center.

Among those celebrating the 10 year career mark Vasco Goncalves, Landscaping and Anushka Blom, Security. Among those celebrating their 15 year career mark Reynold Simon, L.G.Smith’s Steak & Chop House; Robert Kock, Room Service, and Iraida Hernandez, Blue Bar.

Zoyla Croeze and Sharron Wilson, both from the Accounting were recognized by their peers and by members of management for their twenty years of service, having dedicated two decades of their lives to the company.
