The rooftop penthouse suite at the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa served as the venue for an elegant cocktail party thrown in honor of Italian travel agents, here on a mission of tropical exploration.
Jaap Ellis, the Aruba Tourism Authority representative in the Netherlands reports that the group was invited by the Ministry of Tourism and Transportation, in conjunction with the Aruba Tourism Authority and the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association.
Their arrival here also marked the inauguration of a special charter flight originating in Milan, Italy, and flying directly to Aruba, once a week.
Aruba’s partner in Italy, Dimensione Turismo, invited the agents as visitors, and while a full program of activities was provided to them, they were also encouraged to do their own thing, and explore the island on their own.
