Radisson Aruba Resort an Spa Welcomes the Washington Redskins First Ladies of Football To Be Photographed On-Site at the Radisson Aruba Resort and Around the Island

The Radisson Aruba Resort & Spa today announced that the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, known as the “First Ladies of Football”, will be staying at the hotel June
5–11, 2012 to shoot their 2012-2013 calendar. The Radisson Aruba Resort will serve as home base for the famous cheerleading squad and the resort’s lush tropical grounds will provide the location for much of the photo shoot. Resort guests will have opportunities to watch the photo shoot and meet and mingle with the “First Ladies.”

  • Palm Beach, where the Radisson Aruba Resort & Spa is located, is ranked the Top Beach in Aruba and was a key factor in drawing the Washington Redskins’ Cheerleaders to Aruba and the Radisson hotel.
  • The 1,500-foot expansive stretch of pristine beach will be the focal point of the shoot. Additional shoot locations at the AAA Four Diamond resort include the property’s tropical lagoons, cascading waterfalls, zero-entry free-form swimming pools, manicured tropical gardens, and its award-winning oceanfront Larimar Spa that is a favorite of spa connoisseurs.
  • Guests staying at the Radisson Aruba during the week of June 4th – 8th will be invited to watch portions of the on-location photo sessions.
  • The squad will be making several appearances open to guests booked into the resort overnight, providing Washington Redskins fans and football fanatics a rare opportunity to interact with a few of the talented cheerleaders and a chance to get an autograph.
  • On Wednesday, June 6th, guests will have an opportunity to dine and enjoy a special poolside dinner and exclusive show by the cheerleaders.
    • Dinner will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by the show from 8:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. The event will take place on the Pool Deck and costs $35.00 per person, plus tax and service.
  • The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders squad will be appearing at the “Manager’s Cocktail Party” overlooking the beautiful waterfalls at the chic Mira Solo Martini & Wine bar.
  • Guests are also invited watch the competition as the cheerleaders play touch football and other games on the beach on Sunday, June 10th. Guests attending the beach games can enjoy a signature drink in commemoration of the event, the RedZone, as well as beach service.
