Press Members Explore Wellness on Aruba

 

Palm Beach — The popular theme of wellness, placing physical, mental, and spiritual health at the forefront of vacation trips, is becoming one of the fastest growing travel trends, and the island has in recent years, successfully incorporated wellness into its menu of activities here.

To spread the good news about wellness opportunities, a group of press members from the USA, staying at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino focused on the trend, as guests of the resort and the Aruba Tourism Authority.

They experienced an exciting program during their stay on the island.

Highlights of their activities included dinner on the Sunset Grille deck, where Chef Heron presented some of his mouthwatering specialties, such as Aruba Mint Cured Salmon as Amuse Bouche, Lump Crab Mango Cannelloni as an appetizer, and as a main course, Organic Corn Fed Chicken Breast and Grilled Line Caught Snapper, with Strawberry and Lavender Panna Cotta for dessert.

The group also enjoyed a Bike Scavenger Hunt and Tour to the California Lighthouse, and signature eforea Spa Treatments, introducing an Aloe Sun Relief Wrap, a 25-minute, cold body wrap, face cleansing, aloe face mask and moisturize, which culminated with a little scalp, neck and shoulder massage as an extra perk.

The visiting dignitaries also enjoyed some leisure, experiencing the resort’s pool & beach; some of them went paddle boarding on the flat inviting waters of Palm Beach, and others challenged their level of fitness with a game of Beach Tennis.

Outside their host resort group members enjoyed a Natural Pool Adventure with De Palm Tours and lunch at Boca Prins, a session of Beach Yoga and an afternoon on board a Catamaran for a Snorkel Sail.

The group consisted of writers and contributors to Nylon Magazine, Oxygen Magazine, Refinery29 website, Travel Channel/Fly&Dine, Teen Vogue, Health-, Fitness-, Glamour-, Men’s Health- and Women’s Health magazines, Travel + Leisure, Outside Magazine, National Geographic Traveler, Woman’s Day and Boca Raton Magazine.

Upon their return o the USA, they will be introducing the wealth of wellness activities on Aruba to their readership, driving tourism with innovative health and lifestyle content.
