The Alhambra ballroom hosted a lavish reception just recently showcasing Divi’s culinary excellence in anticipation of the upcoming holiday party-season. Invited guests sampled many delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by Divi’s culinary team, while enjoying live entertainment and dance music for a spectacular finale.
Guests were greeted with A Touch Of Steel music upon arrival and presented with a chilled flute of champagne. They were then treated to a great variety of delights prepared and served, by Corporate Chef Matt Boland, and Executive Chefs Anthony de Palm and Gerard Coste, hard at work slicing and plating many delicacies served as shooters, tapas and small plates in the ballroom, with entertainment by El Professor Nichola, Angela Flores and Amy Sorinio.
Having witnessed the cooking firsthand, guests were greeted by the entire Divi Executive Team, including Managing Director Alex Nieuwmeyer, Director of Banquet and Events Sales, Inge Van Roon and her team, General Managers Gerrit Griffith, Marin Bijl, and Patrick Franssen, Food and Beverage professionals Armando Boekhoudt, and Michael Ras, as well as many others working for the five Divi properties on the island, namely Divi Aruba All Inclusive, Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive, Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort, Divi Dutch Village and Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort.
