The Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa revealed its star team members for March & April at a recent lunch party hosted at the Sunset Grille restaurant.
For March 09, Orlando Camera, Sunset Grille Restaurant, was the top pick.
Nominated by Ronni Maduro for rendering smooth, flawless service in a most consistent manner, Maduro reports that Orlando’s excellent performance helped the resort attain and maintain its top ranking with AAA as Orlando happened to be the server in charge of the inspector’s table on the night of AAA’s diamond rating visit, garnering compliments for his optimal scores.
Also nominated in March: Alejandra Puerta, Beverage, Jorge Barros, Banquets, Anthony Koolman, Accounting, and Rinda Everon, Housekeeping.
For April 09, Helen Dake of the accounting snatched top honors. Helen picked up extra work as her colleagues at the department were out on vacation or sick leave, says manager Lidwina Rasmijn; Helen assumed the additional responsibilities and delivered excellent work demonstrating her “Yes, I Can” attitude, she adds.
Also nominated in April: Candida Soriano, Kitchen, Diocelina Zambrano, Engineering, Sylvio Groeneveldt, Purchasing and Nivia Leest, F&B cashier.
Winners were presented with engraved plaques by Director of Human Resources Glenn Farro and his staff, who congratulated the winners and the runner-ups warmly.
