Maria Eugenia Valencia, from the Fish Department, conquered the Carnival Queen title at Ling & Sons IGA on Friday, in one of the year’s most entertaining elections, with a dress made from recycled plastic cups!!
Jury members included winning singer Valentino King, and Aruba’s own Carnival royalty, the Carnival Queen and Mrs. Carnaval
Locals and visitors loved the ambience, the creativity, and the joy of life which rocked the giant food store from floor to ceiling! The parade of decorated shopping carts and produce carts, was unforgettable.
