A fun managers’ outing on board Red Sail Sports Catamaran, for sunset and cocktails served as the backdrop of the Manager of the First Quarter event. For the first time in the resort history, the nominated John Kock, Security, and Frank Sabajo, Engineering, tied for the coveted title and were both declared winners of the Manager of the First Quarter award.
Both have demonstrated incredible dedication, motivation and hard work during the past years and especially in the first quarter of 2016. John is dedication to safety at the resort making all associates aware of eventualities, encouraging the application of safety regulations, while Frank contributes greatly at the engineering department as a champion of environmental practices and energy savings. “We’re proud of their accomplishments, dedications and perseverance,” said General Manager Joe Najjar as he handed them their recognitions. “The decision to share the title was based on your collaboration in achieving mutual goals in the interest of the resort. Such collaboration is required of leadership, aiming at growth. As we continue to move forward, the strength and success of our team will be measured by our willingness as leaders to partner on finding solutions, mapping out processes and holding each other accountable,” Najjar concluded.
Both Frank and Johnny took co-ownership of the Loss Prevention and Safety Audit, leading to the successful resolution of many safety challenges. Congratulations to both!
