Memorable Father’s Day at the Hilton’s Sunset Grille

With one of the island’s most unique and picturesque settings, the Sunset Grille at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino was the perfect spot for family gatherings, Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20th, 2021, where the festive occasion was safely celebrated, as it would have, before the pandemic.

Father’s Day special menu was put together by the resort’s culinary brigade, who viewed the experience as an opportunity to infuse the restaurant’s favourite dishes with love for the head of the family, the patriarch, saying “I love you Papi,” with a sprinkle local flair and abundant passion.

The choice of appetizers for Dad’s unforgettable dinner listed Lobster Bisque, served under puff pastry, Ahi Tuna Tartare or Steakhouse Wedge Lettuce, all three classic, true and tested steakhouse darlings.

The choice of entrees, a 16oz Ribeye Steak, Blackened Grouper or Aruban Seafood Risotto in lobster sauce, with shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams and fresh grouper, were all expertly plated to please Dad’s discerning taste.

For dessert, some perennial choices were presented, Bolo Borracho, a local liquor-soaked cake, or Trio Crème Brulée, Coffee, Chocolate and Vanilla flavored.

The Food & Beverage Department of the resort was rewarded with a packed house filled with cheerful, grateful guests.
