Mar Azul is home to the Oranjestad Kunsthuis Art Foundation

Gilbert Senchi & Franz SydowOranjestad Kunsthuis Art Foundation, has a new location at Mar Azul Marina Mall, which also houses a generous work studio.

The foundation is non profit and is currently working with more than 100 local and international artists, members, advisers and a global network contributing to the development and promotion of Aruba’s contemporary art movement.

The founder and an artist himself, Gilbert Senchi conducts the activities in collaboration with Alice van Romondt, an official with Prince Bernhard Funds & National Museum of History & Editorial Charuba, with the help of TV personality Malayca Bufalini Rasmijn, as the PR representative.

They are dedicated to providing a comprehensive forum for contemporary art and try to support artists via gallery exhibitions, public programs & professional development.Located in the Marina Mall street level, in the area of Aruba’s night, luxury shopping district and the Oranjestad harbor port, the gallery affords a diverse array of professional yet sometimes undiscovered artists the opportunity to produce and exhibit work in the heart of Aruba’s vibrant art district.

The foundation’s operations and programs are made possible with the generous support of foundations, corporations, government agencies, individuals and the media in general.
