An informal Golf & Karaoke outing landed the department heads and managers of La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club at Divi Links for an entertaining golf clinic.
Having enjoyed the Donald Ross Feel Golf School, at The Links Golf Learning Center, the crew went on to put for a while and apply the lessons taught by Dr. FeelGolf, at the practice range.
Exhausted from their golfing sessions and very thirty the managers retired to Mulligan’s Golf Bar & Restaurant for refreshments and an award ceremony in which Tabitha Fecunda awarded three golfing prizes in the name of Divi Links to General Manager Joe Najjar and two tied runner-ups, Willie and Jsmael.
Assistant General Manager Jessica Franken was the emcee of the quarterly recognition ceremony in which three outstanding department heads were praised for their numerous contributions to the resort.
Both Nilda Echobardo and Frank Sabago are many times award-winners, and famous for their creativity and ingenuity in the Housekeeping Department and in Environmental Stewardship, respectively, but this time Cesar Tromp received the ultimate honor, as Manager of the First Quarter. With the resort under renovations, Cesar keeps the pace of ordering equipment up, on a timely basis, “We have never been short of anything, during renovations,” says Najjar, “and all equipment showed up on time, thanks to Cesar’s tremendous management of the ordering process.”
