Noord – Interim General Manager Astrid Muller was pleased to congratulate dedicated laundry supervisor Alfredo Sotillo on the occasion of his 25th anniversary at the resort.
Alfredo hails from Venezuela. He arrived here for a job with a construction company and transitioned later to hospitality. He started as a houseman in charge of public areas at Caribbean Palm Village Resort and enjoyed a number of promotions which landed him in the laundry in a supervisory role.
He experienced many changes over the years, he explains, becoming a Dutch citizen and marrying his wife Criselda, almost 18 years ago, but overall Alfredo reports loving his job, his colleagues and the guests on vacation. In turn, the resort has shown its appreciation to Alfredo’s patience and commitment in the form of extra mile awards, and employee of the quarter awards.
On the occasion of the Silver anniversary, management, board and staff of Caribbean Palm Village Resort wish Alfredo many more years of enjoyable work, surrounded by his resort family members and his friends, many more bingo jackpots at the casino and lots of fun every day.
