The resort hosted the traditional quarter celebration in the ballroom, live, abandoning zoom, bringing back the animated, much-missed camaraderie, dimmed during the height of the Covid19 restrictions.
Words of appreciation and encouragement were shared by management addressing the resort high-achieving teams from the respective departments. General Manager Joe Najjar shared additional inspirational thoughts, thanking his associates for putting their best foot forward, and actively taking part in tourism recovery.
The gathering recognized achievements of associates, supervisors, teams and leaders of the quarter, for January, February and March, of 2021.
Nominees were called forward and enjoyed thundering applause from their peers, as they were presented with attractive certificates.
For January, Dieu Seoul Britus, Pool and Beach; Jean Carl Franken, Kitchen; Bazile Baptistin, Engineering; Richelline Maduro, Front Office; and Micherlande Prophete, Housekeeping, outshone all others.
For February, the honorees included Jhonier Castro, Loss prevention; Imelda Janga, Kitchen; Ainsley Murray, Engineering; Lynette Do Nascimento, Accounting; Gregorio Milton, Loss Prevention and Marie Bernier, Housekeeping.
For March the list was equally impressive, Stella Herrera, Kitchen; Sandy Ras, Engineering; Raden Olivar, Front Office; and Alexandra Croes, Housekeeping.
A big thank you was dedicated to the Food, Beverage and kitchen staffers for the nicely catered snack boxes.
The Winner for Associates of the Month received a Plaque, a Dinner voucher valued at $ 100.00 at the Islander Grill, 100 stars, for the in-house incentive program, and $ 100.00 added to their pay slip. Nominees received a beautiful Certificate and 50 stars.
