The decisive factors used in determining the winners for 2015 were online guest surveys, associate opinion surveys, employee, supervisor, manager and team of the month elections, which are the monthly competitions between all departments. Also taken into consideration, Best Improved Score and Highest Score, as well as participation in social, sports, and environmental activities, besides reaching departmental goals, good attendance records, caring acts of kindness and more.

Brass Band OBS with band leader Neohmar Maduro filled the hallways with rhythm, as associates danced their way towards the pool deck for more carnival fun.

A panel of judges consisting of resort guests had the difficult task of electing 2016 La Cabana’s Queen based on dance performance, creative costume and popularity. La Cabana’s 2016 Guest Queen Gladys Reese was introduced to the public and elegant La Cabana’s 2015 Carnival Queen Ciria Quandus gave her last appearance before handing her crown over to the newly elected Queen: Keyla Reeder.
