General Manager Joe Najjar had a great surprise for the associates of his resort, when he made an unexpected general announcement, last week.
As the resort entered the last stretch of its campaign, 100 days of celebrating U, in recognition of the associates’ tireless contributions to the ongoing business success, even through difficult financial times, the Board of Director, in consultation with the Management Team, approved an AWG 1,000 relief gift certificate, presented to all full-time associates and supervisors, to be used at Super Food.
Over the years, the resort has stepped up to support both the community at large, and especially the associates’ community.
The Board of Director, and the Management Team, proved again that they are listening, they are more than just employers and the resort is more than just a workplace. It is a caring culture that creates memorable vacations, and memorable moments for all involved.
Caring for each other drives a culture that is enriched by passion, strengthened by integrity, and rejuvenated by fun! A culture fueled by consistency, on-going learning, and appreciation!
As Najjar was breaking the good news to his associates, he expressed the hope that the generous gesture will help offset the burden of grocery expenses, increased recently due to the cost of living surge around the globe.
This generous gesture could not have been possible without the great compassion of La Cabana’s board of directors and La Cabana’s Management Team.
This past Saturday, the resort organized a fundraising carwash, where managers, washed the cars of the associates. The car wash successfully wrapped up, 100 days of celebrating U.
What started with Housekeeping Week, and continued with hiking, and biking, with the General Manager, culminated with a Family Day at De Palm island, a Benefit Fair and a relief gift certificate, just to name a few of the 100 day long campaign.
