Earlier in May 2021, La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino launched an Official Vaccination Campaign.
The campaign, an ongoing, exciting and interactive initiative, was designed to increase the percentage of vaccinated associates at the resort. In addition to sharing a great deal of information about the Pfizer vaccine and the Aruba Health App with its associates, the resort also offered educational sessions with medical professionals.
According to the Vaccinate & Win campaign, associates who registered for vaccinations were included in a community raffle with a chance to win amazing prizes. The added value, always underlined, was the fact that by vaccinating, associates contributed to the island’s herd immunity, protecting colleagues and loved ones, encouraging visitors to return and facilitating the recovery of our economy.
Associates were also invited to get help registering for the vaccine at the department of Human Resources, and are now encouraged to sign up their kids and vaccinate them as well.
At the virtual drawing streamed on Facebook, Jessica Franken conducted the random picking of winners, also one for Circle KI, of Colegio EPI, promoting vaccinations at the school: Denise Brouwer.
As the random process picked winners, their names were announced: Dario Penja & Rachel Baart, won a weekend stay at the resort, each, while first place winner, Micheline Tromp, won a week’s stay at the resort.

As Aruba continues on the road to tourism recovery, resort management is putting the emphasis on health and wellbeing of its guests and associates as top priority.
Promoting a safe and healthy environment is the main focus at this time, explain General Manager Joe Najjar.
La Cabana would like its associates to come to work feeling comfortable to interact with others, and the only way to achieve recovery and normalcy in that way is the vaccination program, helping rebuild trust in Aruba, by making visitors safe.
