Kristof Steegmans, WeTravel2 – Travel Without Limits, Hosts a Press Conference

Palm Beach — Following Kristof Steegmans’ visit to the island of Aruba, safe, trendy and up-market travel package deals, will be made available for permanently or temporarily disabled travelers.

WeTravel2, headquartered in Heist-op-den-Berg, Belgium, and headed by Kristof Steegmans is making sure that the physically limited, and people who are wheelchair users, blind, deaf, or otherwise temporarily or permanently handicapped, can also travel to exotic destinations, Aruba among them.
Traveling he says is a great experience, and from an ethical and moral point of view he is motivated to try to achieve global mobility for everyone, going beyond lobbying to actually laying the groundwork to making Aruba and all its wonders easily accessible.
“I think that a lot of progress has already been made in this area. But the big issue remains: Individual travelers with disabilities still find it very hard to organize their own safe and comfortable trip. As an avid individual traveler with a disability, I can speak from my own experiences!”
Injured on a holiday at the age of sixteen when he dove to shallow water, and a paraplegic ever since, Kristof made it his mission to travel, despite the misfortune. His wheelchair did not stop his from going places, and now he is making arrangements around the globe to share that freedom to explore warm and far-off destinations with other individuals who share his condition.
On his recent visit to Aruba, Kristof met the local press at Taste of Belgium Restaurant at the Palm Beach Plaza Mall and shared his knowledge with several tourist organizations stressing the need for information, and disability-friendly facilities.
His company WeTravel2, is a new and trendy organization, based entirely upon his own experience with the goal of mapping the opportunities and offering them as package deals, starting with a limited but varied selection of four destinations: Aruba, Curacao, Kenya and Tenerife. At these destinations, WeTravel2 provides accessible hotels, customized transfers and excursions, medical tools and assistance, in collaboration with professional local partners.
WeTravel2 offers travelers with temporary or permanent disabilities the necessary backup and logistics to travel without problems or limitations. Adapted transport, equipment rental, availability of medical assistance, accessible excursions, hotels, restaurants, attractions… these are the keys to valuable travel experiences.
