Kosmetikos, a dynamic, local cosmetic distribution company recently became part of the Aruba Growth Fund portfolio.
“We joined the family of the Aruba Growth Fund companies on March 1st, after a short period of negotiations,” explained General Manager Juraima Quevedo. “Our company saw great growth potential in joining forces with the investment fund” she added.
AGF, owns the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, as well as a number of other exciting retail outlets which open the possibility of cross-promotion.
The fund now welcomes Kosmetikos and its leading brands, Revlon, Max Factor, and Covergirl. It also is happy about adding other products to its range, such as Scenabella Fine Fragrances, Kinesiology Therapeutic Elastic Sport Tape, implements, make up tools and accessories, UDV fragrances and more.
Following the takeover, Kosmetikos organized a number of successful relaunch parties for its Max Factor and Cover Girl brands. The exciting Revlon relaunch was attended by Linda Caselle, the corporate representative from Miami’s Somar Distribution, mingling with local makeup artists, celebrities, press and the Miss Teen Aruba candidates, and more than 125 invited guests.
Kosmetikos quality products are currently carried by most island pharmacies. The extensive lines of lips, eyes, face, nails, and hair color products are also distributed in supermarkets and beauty stores.
Quevedo, and her capable staffers, including Windy, Belinda, Aaron Wendy & Lucy, are working hard on the success of the enterprise and look forward to long term collaboration with all stakeholders.
