Kistie’s Jewels donates gorgeous diamond to Clown Doctors for raffle

This is a real diamond! Weighing 1.29 karat, the brilliant, round-cut jewel is truly gorgeous, set into a yellow gold circle and hung from a 14 K chain. Director of Kristie’s Jewels & Sparkles in the Paseo Herencia Mall, Ravi Lalwani, is donating this beautiful necklace to the Clown Doctors of Aruba foundation for their upcoming Ice Cube Diamond Raffle. The idea behind this raffle is the following: a fake diamond has been frozen in huge blocks of ice by sponsor Andina Ice and a tower of ice has been erected. This tower of ice is located in an air conditioned tent next to the escalator to the cinemas at Paseo Herencia Mall. People can guess the time that the diamond will fall out when the ice has melted.

Betting tickets will start at AWG. 10,–, but the price of a ticket will go up as the ice goes down. The Clown Doctors do not know how fast the ice will melt, as weather conditions will play an important part in the melting process. The winner gets the spectacular diamond necklace as well as gift certificates from Addict, Guess, I-Zone Internet, Baci di Roma, Haagen-Dasz, Moka’s, Gift Crafters, Shoebiz and Hunkemoller.

For the persons who are closest to the winning time there are weekend stays and dinners to be won: 2nd closest gets a long weekend stay at the Marriott Resort, number 3 gets a weekend stay at La Cabana, 4th gets a weekend stay at The Boardwalk Boutique Hotel, while 5 receives an all-inclusive day pass at the Riu Palace. Six is in for a dinner at the Marriott Resort, 7 goes out to dinner at Hosteria da Vittorio, 8 gets Dinner at Yemanja, 9 at Que Pasa and 10 at Nobushi.

A tombola with extra prizes will see to it that buyers of a betting ticket get even more chances to win a valuable gift: there are dinners at TGI Friday’s, Mr. Jazz, gift certificates of Délifrance, Mango, Beauty and the Beast, Maggy’s, Digicel, a basket courtesy of Aruba Aloe and various works of art, among others.

So put a visit to the Paseo Herencia Mall on your schedule this coming weekend, and remember to buy tickets to help the Clown Doctors foundation and to help yourself win a fantastic prize. Activities for kids are held during the entire weekend; betting ticket sales start on Thursday evening. A special booth with children’s toys (in the Digicel tent) offers terrific toys at a super low price. With Sinterklaas and Christmas coming up, find the deals of a lifetime!
