Jorge gets a warm send off to Curacao

Jorge farewell (16)The Aruba Trading Company, ATC, invited many of the island’s food & beverage professionals to come say farewell to Jorge Curiel, the company’s Sales & Marketing Manager for Wines, Beer & Mineral Water, for the past five year. Jorge just recently received an attractive offer on the island of Curacao and decided to further develop his career on that neighboring island.

At his farewell gathering at Amazonia Churrascaria over a delicious toast of Opus One, the famed Bordeaux-style blend, ATC’s Managing Director Gilberto Junior Croes credited Jorge for growing the company’s business as the island’s largest wine purveyor and for building and maintaining so many friendships within the hospitality industry.

Jorge, an avid deep see fisherman received a few super-size hooks for the big ones he is about to catch in Curacao, as well as a state of the art fishing rod, with the hope he will have time to devote to his hobby, in the future.

“The past 5 years at Aruba Trading Company have been some of the best of my life and part of this is thanks to you,” Jorge said at the gathering, “I am very grateful and honored to have met and worked with all of you. Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me during my time at Aruba Trading Company.”

The extensive wine portfolio of the ATC will now be entrusted to Monrich, Jorge’s very knowledgeable, up and coming successor.
