Palm Beach — Red Sail Sports, operating exciting watersports and a collection of retail stores on the island for the past twenty-five years, invited Isabella Kainama-Rugebregt to come on board and head the company’s ever-busy Sales & Marketing department.
Isabella has over the past years amassed a great deal of experience in the food & beverage, banquet, catering and special event field which she is now planning to put to good use in her new position.
Isabella came to Red Sail Sports from EPIC Aruba Destination Management Company, where she served as Operations Manager, assisting top decision makers in the MICE market with site inspections and final decisions regarding transportation, activities, dine around programs and decor for their customized events. She also spent considerable time in Sales & Marketing, as a manager at the successful Casa Tua Restaurants, booking groups and training staff members, always demonstrating her passion for service excellence and customer satisfaction.
With valuable catering experience obtained working for Le Dome Restaurant & Delifrance, Isabella is also well versed in the orchestration of ‘off and on property’ events, sensitive to clients needs and special requests.
Having spent over one year travelling the globe, visiting among others Asia, Oceania and Africa, Isabelle prides herself on understanding travel first hand, which prepared her to assume the reins at the Sales and Marketing Department at Red Sail Sports and applying herself to the job at hand.
Together with her colleague Suzanne Van Grinsven, Marketing & Events Manager, the Isabella & Suzanne tag team will be booking trips on board the luxurious Red Sail Sports catamarans with groups from two to two-hundred and seventy. They will be filling the Dive Boats, and promoting a bonanza of on surf activities such as kayaking , windsurfing, deep sea fishing, submarine tours, and assorted fun beach activities with tubing, banana boats, Jetskis, stand up paddles, and the thrilling JETLEV and Hoverboard, among them.
On turf, the new sales and marketing team will book the company’s popular Jeep safari, hiking tours in the National Park, Island bus tours, ATV tours, golf, mountain biking, horseback riding, shopping tours, beach tennis, children’s animal encounters and the Kukoo Kunuku party bus.
The retail stores, and the company concierge desks around the hotels will also fall under their sphere of influence servicing locals, tourists, incentive groups, wedding groups, and families on vacation.
Red Sail sports, the first tour & activity operator in the Caribbean to receive the Silver Award from Earth Check for its Green efforts is proud to have Isabella on the team, with her unique perspective on tourism, and her diverse personal tool box. “I am excited to be here,” she says, “I love Aruba and the incredible variety of activities Red Sail Sports has to offer.
