A fun evening was just recently orchestrated by Romar Trading at Hoshi Sushi & Bar when the expert chefs paired their best creations with Concha y Toro Brut, Concha Y Toro Demi Sec and Casillero Del Diablo Brut, which is the top of the line sparkling wine for the famed winemaker from Chile.
Clive Faustin, Romar Trading Wine Artist was on hand to welcome guests with a chilled flute of bubbly, and rich information about fine food & wine pairings.
Faustin report that Concha y Toro, celebrating 125 years of tradition and excellence in wine making will be helping promote certain wine lines from its huge portfolio in Aruba’s top restaurant over the next months. Special Concha Y Toro hostesses will help patrons enjoy the best quality and wine-drinking experience.
At Hoshi Sushi owners Rosangel Diaz Manuitt and Lisbeth Gonzalez Capriles delighted their guests with Kokitos, a thinly sliced white fish appetizer, followed by afresh tropical ceviche, and a platter of beautifully prepared Royce, Tuna, Wakame and Kani Crunch rolls.
The Tempura Ice Cream dessert was paired with Concha Y Toro Late Harvest 2007, fragrant with the aroma of ripe honey fruit.
While the Hoshi Sushi’s chefs prepared every plate in the open kitchen, the dining room staff served patrons bottomless flutes of delicious bubbly.
The restaurant and bar at the Palm Beach Plaza Mall serves Japanese and Thai specialties prepared with the freshest Caribbean ingredients. The delicate flavors of traditional sushi and the spice of daring variations—paired with the excellent Romar Trading Sparkling Wine selection offered diners a much-enjoyed culinary journey to the Far East.
The second-floor restaurant enjoys a Japanese style décor, serving sashimi, sushi rolls, salads and wok creations sake wines and Japanese beers, also on the outdoor terrace.
