Hilton Aruba Donates Tables to Local Foundations and Organizations

Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino recently made a donation of 70 brand new rectangular banquet tables to local Social Foundations and Organization, coordinated through the Bureau of the Minister of Social Affairs. 

The Blue Energy Committee at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino contacted the Bureau of the Minister of Social Affairs to identify the organizations that were in need of new tables. The Blue Energy Committte members coordinated and delivered the tables to 15 organizations and foundations: Imelda Hof, Casa Cuna, Grupo Walishali, Grupo Kawara, Grupo Magdalena, Grupo Kibrahacha, Centro di Bario Noord, Centro di Bario Santa Cruz, Centro di Bario Savaneta, Centro di Bario Tanki Leendert, Pica Piedra Speel School, Curason Contento Peuterschool, SVGA, Pasadia Infantil Te Aworo, Ambiente Nobo. Each of these foundations and organization, have in their own way helped and are repeatedly giving back to the community, to help aid the social sphere on the island.

The Blue Energy Committee at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, which helps plan the resort’s different community service activities, felt the project fits in perfectly with the company’s philosophy of investing in the local community. That philosophy has prevailed in the company for more more than 100 years, determined to ensure sustainable and inclusive growth for all.

“The team members and I are honored to help the social organizations and foundations in Aruba,” said Glenn Farro, director of human resources. “We feel it is our duty to give back to the community that has embraced us and provided us with so much support.”
